We leave your choice of bar up to you! With a 1\" spacing there are a lot of options from 1\" round or square tubing to smaller diameters by using a spacer. The car pictured is a 1989 Oldsmobile cutlass calais and is using a 1\" diameter .065\" chromoly tube between the two brackets. This tube can be picked up at your local metal supplier or even Summit racing!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eHow to\u003c\/em\u003e \u003cem\u003einstall.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFollow all normal safety procedures when working on a vehicle\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRemove the nuts from the mounting bolts on the front passenger and driver struts. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIf your car has a bracket for cruise control or other features that mounts to the strut, remove that as well\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eInstall the strut bar brackets to the top of the strut. The bar mount will be closest to the firewall with the extended end pointing at each other (check out pictures at the top of the page)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePut on the removed factory brackets if there are any and loosely put the nuts back on the strut bolts\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eNow you are ready to add the bar you decided on.
